Kakao Entertainment announced on Friday that Crocodile , a new action noir webtoon created by MEEN and Hellbound artist Kyoo-seok Choi, will launch on Kakao Page on September 5.
The series marks the first collaboration between the two creators. It follows In-hoo Jung, who is released from prison after serving 10 years for murder. Hoping to live a quiet life, he instead becomes entangled with the family of the man he killed when the victim's wife asks him to protect her son.
Set in Busan, Crocodile explores revenge, redemption, and the meaning of life as In-hoo confronts the family of his former victim. The series combines action with a gritty noir atmosphere and detailed character-driven storytelling.
MEEN is known for action noir works including Tong , Blood Rain , and the Dokgo series. MEEN's Crime Puzzle and Price of Violence series are both available on Tapas .
Choi co-created the webtoons Hellbound with director Sang-ho Yeon.
