Kotoko announced on X (formerly Twitter ) on September 1 Megumi Dorokawa ( Share House Nile ) will take over as the artist from Yone for the Fake It to Break It! I Faked Amnesia to Break off My Engagement and Now He’s All Lovey-Dovey?! ( Konyaku Haki o Neratte Kioku Sōshitsu no Furi o Shitara, Sokkenai Taidodatta Konyakusha ga "Kioku o Ushinau Mae no Kimi wa, Ore ni Beta Boredatta" to Iu, Tondemonai Uso o Tsuki Hajimeta ) manga beginning with the 17th chapter on September 10.

Artist Yone and author Kotoko launched the manga series in Japan on Square Enix 's Manga UP! service in 2022. Square Enix shipped the third compiled book volume in February 2025. J-Novel Club publishes the original light novel series in English.
Kotoko and artist Kaname Hanamiya 's The Final-Boss Prince is Somehow Obsessed with the Chubby Villainess: Reincarnated Me ( Odebu Akujo ni Tensei Shitara, Nazeka Last Boss О̄jisama ni Shūchaku Sareteimasu ) manga is getting a television anime adaptation .
TO Books announced in February Kotoko 's I Was Reincarnated as the Heroine on the Verge of a Bad Ending, and I'm Determined to Fall in Love! ( Bad End Mokuzen no Heroine ni Tensei Shita Watashi, Konse de wa Renai Suru Tsumori ga Cheat na Ani ga Hanashite Kuremasen!? ) light novel series will get an anime adaptation.
Kotoko launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2021. TO Books published the novels' first volume in January 2022, with illustration by Tsukasa Satsuki . Satsuki drew the novels' illustration up to its second volume, and Kei Kumanomi took over the illustrations from the third volume in December 2022.
Ikuto Nanase launched a manga adaptation titled Bad End Mokuzen no Heroine ni Tensei Shita Watashi, Konse de wa Renai Suru Tsumori ga Cheat na Ani ga Hanashite Kuremasen!? @COMIC on TO Books ' Corona EX manga website in June 2022. Tokyopop 's LOVELOVE imprint publishes the manga in English.
