Square Enix unveiled during the Nintendo Direct livestream on Wednesday two trailers for games in the Final Fantasy VII series. The first video is for Final Fantasy VII Revelation , the third and final game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, and it shows Sephiroth. The second trailer is for the Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion remastered game , and it announces the game's Nintendo Switch 2 version, which launched on the same day.
Square Enix released the Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in December 2025. There is no Switch 2 upgrade path or save data transfer for customers who own the Switch version.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation will launch on April 8 simultaneously for PS5, Xbox X|S, Xbox on PC, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
