Medabots S Smartphone Game to Get Global Launch

Imagineer announced on Friday that it will release the Medabots S game for iOS and Android devices globally and opened pre-registrations for the game. The game's App Store page lists its release date as January 21, 2027.

The game launched in Japan under the title Medarot S: Unlimited Nova in January 2020.

Imagineer released the Medabots Survivors game for Android and iOS devices globally on February 25. It launched in Japan on February 10.

Imagineer launched the Medarot Card Robattle RB (Medalist Card Robattle RB) game for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 25.

Medarot Classics Plus, an updated version of the Medarot Classics Nintendo 3DS game compilation for Nintendo Switch, shipped in November 2020. The collection featured a Kabuto Version and Kuwagata Version, with each including the respective Kabuto and Kuwagata versions of eight Medarot games.

The first Medabots ( Medarot ) game inspired a television anime series by Bee Train in 1999, and a sequel series titled Medarot Damashii ( Medabots Spirits ) in 2000. ADV licensed the series in North America, and Nelvana produced a dub for the first series, which aired in the Fox Kids network in 2001, before moving to ABC Family . Medabots Spirits aired on ABC Family in 2003.

Delta Arts, the studio behind many of the recent Medabots games, shut down in April 2016.
